What does this process do?

I am often given computers, that according to clients, are “running slow.” Despite my recommendation to reinstall Windows, many clients are uncompromising. So I spend several hours douching out the malware, invalid registry keys, and useless applications. One of the many tools that often helps me identify malware (when the computer is too infested to run an application to do it for me) and increase the start up time is processlibrary.com

Uniblue’s free and comprehensive online library of processes is for everyone who needs to know the exact nature and purpose of every process that should, and should not, be running on their PC.

My only qualm is that their ProcessScanner application needs to be installed. It would be very nice if it was a single executable that can be ran from a USB flashdrive.

I often use this to identify malicious processes. It is a very useful resource.
