CodeCall |
CodeCall is an online programming community dedicated to bringing together programmers of varying skill-sets and mastery. Our goal is to help new programmers understand the the syntax, semantics, and paradigms associated with software engineering, while forming a community around a hobby we all enjoy. As a CodeCall administrator, I spend a large portion of my free time helping others, creating a closer community, writing tutorials, managing internals, and promoting externals. John is a long-time moderator and administrator here on CodeCall.net. Over the years, he has proven to be a valuable resource to CodeCall users worldwide by contributing numerous useful tutorials, as well as insightful programming suggestions. As a moderator, he is able to relate well to forum members and is always the first person to offer help. His willingness to help, along with his motivation to master multiple programming languages, makes him a great team member and programmer! ~Roger – Owner of CodeCall |

Syntaxify
|
This plugin enables you to highlight syntax using the PEAR Text_Highlighter class. Other syntax highlighters on the market either use GeSHi or JavaScript. While both solutions work, GeSHi places a heavy burden on the server and JavaScript dramatically increases the page size. This plugin gives you the speed and efficiency provided by the PEAR developers which reduces your page size and load time. You even have the option of enabling or disabling the line numbers as well as specifying your own style. |
Propel
|
Propel your projects into a reality. WordPress is already a powerful website management system that not only allows you to manage your content, but have others interact as well. Most projects rely on several pieces of software. Perhaps you use WordPress as a development blog, Salesforce for CRM, and some other software for time tracking and project management. Propel aims to combine all of these into a single interface that is already friendly and comfortable – WordPress. |
WP-Github
|
Systems often evolve and become great at a specific task. WordPress is a great blogging platform, and Github is a fantastic online code repository. Have you ever wanted to show your Github files and feeds on your WordPress blog? With WP-Github, you can experience the power of Github within WordPress. |
Athena
|
Athena is a lightweight hobby web server that should not be relied upon for production. Athena is the result of a learning process. It was started to learn about Unix sockets, and expanded when I became interested in the HTTP protocol. It received further development as I learned about polling and threading. Athena is currently in the process of receiving a protocol upgrade to support WebSockets. |
